We provide remote system monitoring to identify pending problems before they get to be large and expensive to recover from.

Staff

We bring to our practice a blend of technical professional certifications, real-world experience and active interest not only in what makes things work but also what helps you work. Industry-related certifications held by the principals in the company include MCSE, MCNE, CNE and MLS. Real-world experience includes end user support, technical project management and site re-engineering.

Our name: our vision

Our name comes from Herman Melville's whaling ship the Pequod in Moby Dick. Pequod Systems launched in 1993 with the idea that we would downsize mainframe information management systems to personal computers and local area networks. As mainframe corporate leviathans sank from view, we saw something different.

Local, growing businesses under-planned and overspent on information technology. They under-built for tomorrow because they considered only immediate needs. They had no management tools to protect their investments in the technology. So they constantly "fixed" that which they did not understand.

Smartsizing the enterprise became our vision and Pequod Systems became a lifeboat.
